Our purpose is to provide members of our community the opportunity to participate in, support, and enjoy the sport of soccer through an offering of quality programs that reflect our core values, teach key life lessons and are open to all ages and abilities. A club for the community, the Carolina Rapids operates as a non-profit organization.
We are extremely proud to support our purpose statement regardless of a member’s ability to pay. We routinely support over 125 players per year through our financial assistance program. In 2005, the financial assistance program offered players a total of $28,000 in support.
In 2018, the support offered is $90,000 and growing. How do we do this? Through the generous donations of our Carolina Rapids Families, support from our partners and the community at large. Each year we receive approximately $15,000 in donations from club families. The remainder is funded through club events and partners. We need your help to continue to support local players! We have kicked off a new ‘HELP US PLAY’ campaign to help raise awareness without our club and community.
